Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine”
To celebrate the release of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine”, we transformed the store into a dynamic space designed to promote networking and deliver a shopping experience in the Kicking It way.
This epic collab is a tribute to the legendary Sandy Bodecker. We've already seen these two team up and create magic with the Air Jordan 1 in the past, but this time, they brought a smooth design to the Air Jordan 4 adding skate specifications.
Since working his way up from a footwear tester at Nike in the 80s, Sandy Bodecker left his mark on everything from running to soccer at the Swoosh. His most lasting legacy, though, was giving skaters a voice at Nike and building SB from a crazy idea into what it is today (Nike.com).
We set the store up like a mini skate park, complete with ramps and custom skateboard decks on the wall to host our live raffle the sneaker. We gave away 100 printed Kicking It Skate Team tee shirts to our winners and some of the lucky participants. We had over 400 people come out to be apart of this release experience!
The overwhelmingly positive response from customers was evident as they soaked in the activation.
