In collaboration with the Austin Spurs and Huston–Tillotson University, Kicking It brought culture, education, and sneaker community together for a special edition of Kicking It Courtside.
The evening celebrated Black excellence in sport and scholarship while spotlighting the importance of local institutions that continue to shape the city. Through partnerships with pillars of Austin, the event extended beyond the court with a Sneaker Summit experience and scholarship impact that reinforced why community collaboration matters.
This wasn’t just about sneakers. It was about representation. About investing in students. About using culture as a bridge between sport and education.
