For this release, we offered four exciting ways to win, with three of them cleverly playing off the "lost and found" theme of the shoe. Let us walk you through each method:

Firstly, we posted four riddles on our Instagram. Successfully solving one of these riddles led participants to the name of a neighboring local business. Once they figured out the name, they had to make a purchase there and bring us the receipt. This creative approach allowed us to secure the first 12 pairs, supporting local businesses while adding a cool twist to the experience.

The second way to win was our city-wide scavenger hunt in Austin. We provided clues to a specific location, and the first 30 people who reached that spot secured their pair. In a nod to our history and a tribute to mom-and-pop shops, we chose the original Nice Kicks location where we had a manager for nearly seven years. Despite the location being vacant now, it provided the perfect backdrop, and within 15 minutes, we had an overwhelming turnout of almost 70 eager participants.

Next up was the third way, an IG Live scavenger hunt, which we called the "home edition." During the live stream, we randomly selected viewers one by one. Each viewer then picked a number from 1 to 61, corresponding to a random household item they had to find within 15 seconds. This interactive game was a blast, and we were thrilled to have an audience of over 1000 people enjoying the excitement.

Lastly, we held a regular online raffle as our fourth and final way for those who didn't win through the previous methods. This provided an equal chance for everyone to participate and potentially secure a pair.

PICK UP

To create a memorable experience during the pickup process, we wanted to tie in the theme once again. We transformed a section of our store to resemble the aesthetics of the 80s. The setup included a backdrop featuring an 80s shop wall, complemented by ugly blue carpeting, foot measuring devices, small bench seating with foot mirrors, a neon "open" sign, a non-digital push-button register, and handwritten receipts. To complete the experience, we curated the best 80s hip hop playlist, setting the perfect nostalgic ambiance for our customers.

The response to these ideas and the entire release has been overwhelming. Our DMs have been flooded with positive feedback, and customers who visited us in person couldn't stop praising the unique opportunities we provided. Even those who couldn't secure a pair expressed their enjoyment of participating in the various activities and appreciated the authentic store setup.

This release was truly an incredible experience for both us and our customers. If we had 1000 pairs available, we would have easily sold all of them. We eagerly anticipate future opportunities to unleash our creativity and provide our customers and community with even more unique release experiences.
